Ethiopia’s Tea and Coffee Authority says 300000 metric tons of coffee were exported during the last financial year. According to its new strategy, Ethiopia aims to increase annual coffee export earnings to $4.6bn within 15 years and to increasing its global coffee market share to 1.26 million metric tons by 2033. Ethiopia also expects farmers’ income to reach to $3.5bn and generate employment opportunity for 2.7 million people.
